Loyola Psychology Association Social Campaigns

Client: Loyola University Psychology Association (LUPA)

Challenge: Increase student engagement with mental health programming and events for Loyola University's Psychology Association. Previous outreach efforts had limited reach, and the organization needed a cohesive presence across multiple platforms to connect with students.

My Role: Public Relations Director, 2022–2023

Led social media strategy, visual design, and multi-channel campaign development for all LUPA events and mental health awareness initiatives.

Approach:

  • Designed social media content highlighting mental health resources and upcoming events

  • Developed branded templates for consistent visual identity across Instagram, Snapchat, and other channels

  • Expanded outreach beyond Instagram to Snapchat to reach students where they were most active

  • Implemented performance tracking to measure engagement and refine strategy

Results:

  • Increased attendance at signature event "Treat Yourself" by over 90% compared to the previous year

  • Broadened reach across multiple platforms, creating sustained engagement with mental health programming

  • Established cohesive visual branding that strengthened LUPA's presence on campus

Themed materials, such as coloring pages and mood trackers, were designed and provided at the Plant Your Goals event to offer an opportunity to destress and prioritize mental wellbeing.
